Makli also Known as Necropolis is one of the largest funerary site in the world, spread over an area of 10 kilometers near the city of Thatta. Jalebi Express takes you to this unique UNESCO world heritage sight. We also visit other heritage sights along the way that show case the rich History of Sindh.
Tour Plan:
- 08:00 AM: Meet & Greet & departure via National Highway N-5.
- 09:30 AM: Reaching Bhambhore Ancient Fort Ruins, Qasim Masjid & Museum – Overlooking the Arabian Sea Breakwaters of Dhabeji/Gharo Creek & Gharo Wind Corridor Farm (Distance from Karachi 64.8km).
- 10:30 AM: Brunch will Served in bus while travelling.
- 12:00 PM: Leaving for Makli Hills / Makli Necropolis (Distance from Bambhore Museum 50.9Km).
- 01:30 PM: Onward to Kalri/Keenjhar Lake – Noori Resort & Viewpoint (safe & secure embankment) (Distance from Makli Necropolis 37.6Km).
- 02:15 PM: Lunch at the ‘Noori’ Viewpoint / Garden overlooking the lake.
Optional: Boat ride is available – Safe & Secure Well-maintained Fiber Speedboats – Life-Jacket for every individual – Yamaha Engines – Each boat with capacity of only 08 persons, all fixed fiber seats and the boatmen are all trained lifeguards – Only 15–20 minutes ride in the shallow waters. - 03:15 PM: Moving back to Thatta city stop at Grand Shah Jahan Mosque (Distance from Keenjhar Lake 35.9Km).
- 06:30 PM: Return to the Pickup Point.

It is a great place to shop not too far from New York. We took the bus from Port Authority and traveled through the countryside to get there.
